Comments: Good 10 mile run. Next event witl be Pacific Crest Half Marathon at the end of June.

Tomorrow's run will start at 7:00 AM from the Burnside Wildwood Trail parking lot

Comments: We improved the Wildwood/Marquam route to 2:06:30. It didn't seem so hard at the time but it a pretty difficult run.

The next run is Saturday Morning May 10th. We will meet at the Wildwood trailhead parking on Burnside at 7:00 AM.

Comments: Ran shorter today - 8.5 miles. In two weeks we are going to race a 12 miles course along Wildwood and try to get our time under 2:10.

Comments: Say a few snowflakes in the air up on Council Crest. We did the sam route as last week and felt a bit better. This is a very challenging course. If we can get the time down to 2 hours (2:11 tday) I think a half marathon under 1:50 is possible.

Comments: Good to get back on the trail. The plan is to increase the trail distance every two weeks but keep the pace easy.

Next run Saturday April 5th 7:00 AM. We will park at Burnside and run to Council Crest.

Comments: Nice slow paced run. We should do this about every three weeks.

Our next Saturday run with be at 7:00 at the Wildwood parking lot on Burnside.

Comments: Running to the top of Council Crest, looping Fairmont (3.5 miles) and back down is a challenge.

Palm Springs Tramway

Comments: We ran a loop that included Vista avenue across the bridge into Washington Park. This a very hilly challenging course. It would be good training for the Seattle Half Marathon.

Comments: We parked at Burnside. Ran the Wildwood / Marquam to Council Crest and down to Marquam shelter for a loop back to Burnside. I would like to find a better way to loop. Trails are drying out a bit.

Comments: Nicest running weather since early December. No rain or wind.

This week we will park under the Hawthorne Bridge and start at 7:00 AM.

I'm skiing on Saturday so the next run will be Saturday February 9th.

Comments: Tried new route from Pittock Mansion and found out the gate is locked until 9:00 AM. Parked at the gate and ran over to Wildwood. Make a loop using Marquam trail into downtown through PSU and back to Burnside. Freezing rain started as we headed up Burnside (not the best running conditions.)

The next run will be Saturday January 26th. We will park at Pittock Mansion and start running at 7:00 AM.

Comments: The trails have dried out a bit for nice conditions.

Comments: Nice to see a few other groups of runners out in the dark, wet, muddy trail.

Next run Saturday, January 13th. We will be starting at 6:45.

Comments: All the gear I got for Christmas (Columbia Titanium jacket, glove and hat from NIKE and EZ Heat reusable hand warmers for after the run) make these conditions nearly tolerable. Thanks Fam!

Comments: Very slick and muddy. Talked with some other runners that park at Burnside who got "smash and grabbed" last summer. Nothing broken or stolen this week.

Comments: It is completely dark at 7:00 AM on December 22. Also, never answer "no" to the question "is going to rain?"
