Runners: Carolyn, Jessica and Jim

Weather: Mid 30's and heavy rain

Comments: Jessica is now part of the elite group of runners who go out in any conditions. We ran along the Wildwood and took a detour through Hoyt Arboretum. We connected back with the Wildwood above the Oregon Zoo and ran back towards Burnside. We took another detour down through the Rose Garden (the one with roses - not basketball players.) Finally connected back up with Wildwood and back for about 5 miles. Good job Jess!

Runner: Carolyn and Jim

Weather: Low 30's and cloudy

Comments: We parked at Terwilliger and Barbur. We ran along Terwilliger to a trail head and went up to Faimont loop. We took Fairmont loop south to the tower and took Mitchell down toward Termilliger. We came out at the top of Terwilliger and ran back to Barbur. It was a nice 7 mile run and one that we can put into other loops.

Runners: Jim

Weather: Low 40's and fog

Comments: Carolyn and Stacey ran in Sherwood. I parked at Marquam Shelter and ran up to Council Crest. I then ran across the top of Council Crest to the tower at the other end. I followed Fairmont loop back and down to Terwilliger.

Our next run will be Saturday at 7:30 AM. Park by the Hawthorne Bridge.

Runners: Russ and Jim in Portland and Carolyn and Stacey in Sherwood.

Weather: Low 30's and cloudy

Comments: We ran Broadway hill in 29 minutes - Russ lead the charge. More of a slow march but the hill is very steep.

The next run will be Saturday morning. Meet at Hawthorne Bridge at 7:30. We will run in snow but not in freezing rain.

Comments: We ran along the Wildwood and took the shortcut back where? From Council Crest. Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins took on a while new meaning today.

The next run will be tomorrow morning at 7:30. Park off Burnside.
